Event & Program Signage
Thank you for hosting an America 250 | CT – connected event or program! Organizations & municipalities which have accepted a stipend from the commission are requested to include recognition signage at their events & programs.
Physical Signage
Physical signs are stationed around the state, at one location per Council of Governments region. Refer to the listing below to find your region’s location. Please note that not all locations are COG offices, and refer to the specific directions for your location. Each location has one each of the following: sandwich board (outside use) and pop-up banner (inside use).
As a courtesy to other organizations, please utilize the reservation form to schedule your event dates and refer to existing reservations prior to making your own. All kits are first reserved, first served. If the signage is not available on your required date, you may use the digital downloads for your region.
Please utilize the check in/out form for your location to ensure accurate tracking. Submit the form immediately upon pick-up and drop-off, again, as a courtesy to other organizations.
Please confirm your desired signage is available prior to traveling to the location. Our hosts are not responsible for keeping track of which organization has checked out signage, and will not monitor the reservation list. Some host locations may require an appointment; please refer to the directions for your location for details.
Steps to Borrow Physical Signage
- Check the availability of your region’s kit on your desired date(s). Be sure to check existing reservations as well as whether the kit is currently available. As a courtesy to others, please be sure to honor any reservations that have already been made.
- Check the hours your host location is open for pick ups and drop offs, as well as any specific directions.
- Submit the reservation form for your desired date(s). Please be sure to account for picking up and dropping off.
- Pick up your desired signage. Please “Check Out” before leaving the host location to ensure others know the sign is unavailable. Utilize the QR code on your kit’s tag or the appropriate link below to access the form.
- Take pictures at your event or program & share them with us! Tag us @america250ct on social media or submit via email to info@ct250.org. Not a requirement, but we love to see what’s happening around the state and share with others!
- Return the signage promptly after your event. Please “Check In” when dropping off to ensure others know the sign is now available. Utilize the QR code on your kit’s tag or the appropriate link below to access the form. The same form is used for check in and out. Note any damage on the form when you submit.
Digital Signage
For smaller events, or when the physical signage is not available, downloadable versions are included. Please be sure to use the specific sign for your region, if applicable. These may be printed out or included on your own digital signage. Please do not make any edits to the download.
