Organized by Hawaii’s state commission, join organizations around the country to host a simultaneous reading of the Declaration of Independence on the 250th anniversary of the date that it was originally read to the public.
Based on the program hosted annually by the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library, America 250 | CT encourages the inclusion of readings of other foundational documents as well. This includes documents such as:
